Saturday, March 21, 7-8pm: Purpose in Vocations. Shaykh Murtaza Bachoo will tell us all about fishing and prepare us for our upcoming fishing trip to Rice Lake. Originally from Tanzania, Murtaza grew up enjoying the sights and sounds of BC’s outdoors. Whilst working in his demanding vocation as a Muslim spiritual leader, Murtaza rekindled his interest in fishing in 2015. His fishing explorations have drawn him to the waterways of BC, and gifted him with a profound appreciation for God's creation. He is married to his supportive wife Abida, and is a father to two daughters and one son.
