In the early morning of August 5, 1945 an eight year old girl played in the schoolyard with her classmates. Suddenly, there was a flash of light followed by a tremendous blast. In an instant her life had changed forever. This Sunday Sachi Komura Rummel will share with us at Chinatown Peace Church her story of survival, renewal, and her journey toward faith in Jesus. Sachi hopes her life and her story will encourage this generation to turn away from the terror that war and nuclear weapons pose, and to walk in the paths of peace.
